Men's Golf Team Secures 3rd Place at Longleaf Golf & Family Club

Southern Pines, NC- St. Andrews University men's golf team competed in a two-day event at Longleaf Golf & Family Club. On March 17th, the team had a solid start, with Joe Stevenson and Matt Lefebvre both shooting 75 to lead the team. Troy Taylor followed closely behind with a 77, while Kai Raymond posted an 84. Owen Talbot, competing as an individual, finished the day with an 87. As a team, St. Andrews posted a combined score of 311 on Day 1, with notable performances from Stevenson and Lefebvre.

The following day, March 18th, St. Andrews continued their efforts, with Stevenson and Taylor both posting scores of 73 and 75, respectively. Lefebvre struggled a bit on the second day, carding an 81, while Raymond shot an 84 again. Talbot, improving from Day 1, shot 86 for the round. As a team, St. Andrews scored 313 on the second day, bringing their total for the event to 624.
