Laurinburg, NC- St. Andrews University head coach Lexi King has announced the addition of 8 newcomers to the Lady Knight lacrosse team for the upcoming 2015 season. The eight come from five different states and include 2 goalies, 2 attackers, 3 midfielders and a defender.

First up is a JUCO transfer from Severna Park, MD, goalie Brittani Biddinger (JR). Biddinger comes to the Knights from Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland and will be competing for the vacant starting goalie spot with incoming freshman Cat Andrade of New Bedford, Mass. Andrade has also played high school ball with teammate Joelle-Sara Prata (SO/New Bedford, MA) at New Bedford HS in Massachusetts.

Next are three freshman midfielders from the southeast who will help to bring some offensive punch to the team this year with the loss of SAU's two most prolific offensive players to graduation last season. They include Connie Madden of Palm City, FL, Allie Aycock of Austell, GA, and Christy Caton of High Springs, FL.

King has also brought in two attackers and a defender to complete the incoming class. They include defender Brittany Soper (FR) of Salem, Mass., and attackers Madison Coghan (FR) of Lutz, FL and Zivi Attwood of North Tonawanda, NY. Soper will just add to the Lady Knights' biggest strength this upcoming season on defense.

St. Andrews will begin their 2015 season on February 13 against first year program Tusculum College (TN) while they open at home on February 21 vs. Converse College.
