Waleska, GA- The St. Andrews University women's golf team finished in third place at the AAC Fall Championships held at Reinhardt University on Tuesday as they shot scores of 325 in round 2 and 330 in round 1 to finish 7 shots behind co-leaders SCAD-Atlanta and Milligan College.
SCAD-Atlanta won the Fall Championship via the fifth scorecard tiebreaker by one shot over Milligan to take the title. Both teams tied with a 648 total score while SAU was at 655 and Tennessee Wesleyan came in 4th at 656.
Lady Knight freshman Paige Hartman made all-tournament team virtue of her 77 in round 2 that followed up her 84 in round one vaulting her up to a tie for fourth place overall with her two day score of 161.
Cassidy Gibson of Milligan won the invite with a score of 155 (79-76, +11 over par).
Knights junior Laura Kinsman, coming off back-to-back individual championships finished in 8th overall with a score of 163 after shooting rounds of 81 and 82. Freshman Gabriella Cidras then came next in a tie for 10th with rounds of 82 and 83 (165). Senior Sadiyya Gillespie and freshman Madison Moore finished up the scoring for St. Andrews by placing in a tie for 16th (167) after shooting rounds of 83 and 84.
The Lady Knights are next competing at home when they host the St. Andrews Fall Invitational on Nov.4-5 at Legacy Golf Links in Aberdeen, NC.
