Pineville, KY- The #16 ranked St. Andrews University women's golf team won their second consecutive tournament on Tuesday after they closed the second round with a 317 to go along with their first round 315 to finish 32 shots ahead of runner-up Union College at the Union Bulldog Fall Invite.

SAU junior Laura Kinsman also won her second straight tournament after shooting rounds of 72 and 75 for a 147 score and another impressive win by 7 strokes! Freshman Madison Moore placed third after rounds of 74 and 82 while being named to the all-tournament team with Laura.

Freshman Paige Hartman also did well shooting rounds of 84 and 80 for a 7th place finish while senior Sadiyya Gillespie shot 82 and 83 and came in 9th. Another freshman Gabriella Cidras shot 84 and 86 for a good showing in 15th place as well. The women are now 2-1 on the season.

The Lady Knights were also able to outlast 5 conference schools in the event including Union, Reinhardt, Point, Truett-McConnell, and Bryan College.

The nationally-ranked golf teams will next be in action Oct. 14-15 when the men will compete in the AAC Fall Championships in Elizabethton, TN while the women will be competing Oct. 21-22 in Waleska, GA at the Callahan Golf Links.
