Cleveland, GA-- The St. Andrews Men's Soccer team was unable to get any offense going in their 1-0 loss to conference foe Truett-McConnell College on Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, Truett came out with a goal in the 48th minute of the 2nd half by Matthew Robertshaw to take the lead. They then had to hold off 11 second half shots by the Knights for the win.
SAU outshot TMC 15-7 throughout the game as they could not get any goals off Bear goalkeeper Craig Stephenson.
Knights junior forward Caio Liberatti attempted 4 shots but could not push any across while 3 other Knights took 2 shots apiece.
SAU falls to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in the conference while TMC improves to 4-4 and 3-3 in the league.
St. Andrews will return home on Tuesday as they host Columbia International University at 4 pm at Knights field.
