St. Andrews University Head Swim Coach Brooks Teal has added another outstanding swimmer to the women's team, who are set to kick off their first season in October.  Celia Marcadal, from LaGarde, France, has signed with the Knights, giving them an experienced international competitor who will make an immediate impact in her specialties, Backstroke and Freestyle.

Celia is a former French University Champion in both the 50 meter and 100 meter Free and was the silver medalist at the French Junior Championships.

"Celia is a great addition to our team.  She will be a strong contributor at NAIA Nationals in individual events as well as all the relays.  Her long course times (50 meters) convert to times that would have earned her All American status at the 2013 NAIA Nationals in three events.  I am very excited to have Celia with us to help lead the way into our first season."
