St. Andrews University Head Swim Coach Brooks Teal has announced the signing of Cameron Dixon, from Musselman High School in Gerrardstown, WV. Dixon is the the third signee for the St. Andrews men's team which will begin competition next fall.
Dixon, a two time state finalist in both the 200 and 500 free, was 2013 Northern Virginia Regional Champion in the 200 free, and was named the Eastern Panhandle Swimmer of the Year. Dixon has also served as Vice-President of the National Honor Society, is a member of the Rotary-Interact Club, and a four year member of Musselman High School's Improv Troupe. Dixon competes for Musselman High under head coach Jeff Reed, and with Head Coach Tag Grove of the USA Swimming team,Winchester Swim team.
"I am very excited that Cameron has selected St. Andrews. Cameron has a bright future here as a swimmer and is the excellent student that I want to represent our team in the classroom," says Teal.
