Head Swimming Coach Brooks Teal has just announced the signing of his 2nd recruit on the St. Andrews Men's Swim team, Nicholas Souza.

He comes from Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, VA where he began swimming his freshman year, led by head coach Molly Sandling. As a high school swimmer, Nick lettered his sophomore, junior and senior years. He earned the nickname "Chachi" from his team mates, voted team captain and helped build a strong sense of team spirit and pride with his fellow teammates.

While swimming for Jamestown High School, Nick joined Williamsburg Aquatic Club, led by head coach Harold Baker. As a club swimmer Nick received the prestigious Coach's Award for his hard work and dedication to the sport. The following year also receiving the award for the most improved.

He is excited about swimming in college and being part of the new St. Andrew's Swim Team led by Coach Brooks Teal.  "Nick is a great addition to our program.  Although relatively young in the sport, his backstroke time will already score at NAIA Nationals.  Nick brings leadership and a great attitude to St. Andrews and will definitely get a lot faster over the next four years."
