Bristol, VA- The St. Andrews University Women's basketball team traveled to Bristol, VA to battle the VA Intermont Cobras Wednesday evening and lost by the score of 99-54 to fall to 3-23 on the season.

Freshman guards Danielle Childress and Jamisha Lee led SAU with 15 points apiece. Childerss was 5 of 12 from 3–point range as she was the top sharp-shooter for SAU. However, the whole team struggled from three in the second half as they were not able to hit their threes. Lee also had a good night as she shot over 50 % (6 of 11) for the game while freshman forward Alexus Davis led with 13 rebounds, 1 block, 2 steals, and 7 points as well.

VIC was able to shoot very well throughout the game as they were 48.7 % in the first half and then an impressive 56.8 % in the second half as they had 6 girls in double-figures including 15 from forward Rainey Story.

The Lady Knights will complete their conference schedule on Saturday when they travel to Columbia, SC to face Columbia College at 2 pm before readying for the conference tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1 pm in Kingsport, TN with a tune-up game on Monday vs. Morris College here at home at 5:30.
