Waleska, GA—The St. Andrews Women's basketball team struggled with their shooting this evening as they lost a tough AAC battle with the Reinhardt University Eagles 72-30 in Waleska, Ga.

The Eagles jumped out to an early lead going on an 18-0 run in the first 10 minutes to pull away from the Lady Knights and never looked back as SAU could not get within 10 points the rest of the way and went into the half trailing 38-13. Reinhardt shot 40 percent overall from the floor and were led by the impressive game of Taylor Johnson who scored 21 points, had 9 reobunds, and five assits.

St. Andrews made 3 shots from behind the arc and were 20% overall from the floor, and struggled as a whole throughout the game. They were led by senior guard Benee Norton's 7 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and one block as she had the best all-around game. Freshman forward Alexus Davis led with 2 blocks while freshman guard Danielle Childress went 2 of 6 from three point range.

SAU falls to 3-11 and 1-4 in the conference while Reinhardt improves to 7-10 and 2-3.

The Lady Knights return home to host AAC rival Montreat College this Thursday at 5:30 inside Harris Court.
