LAURINBURG, N.C. - The St. Andrews University women's volleyball team edged their AAC South Division foe Allen University (S.C.) on the road Tuesday evening in a tense five sets.

SAU rolled to a convincing first set win 25-11 over the Jackets by registering 10 kills and hitting .212 while Allen made 9 errors. The match would then turn in Allen's favor as they would squeak out the next two sets from the Lady Knights 25-23 and 32-30 in a very exciting third set. SAU would total more kills than the Jackets in each of the sets with 13 in set 2 and 17 in set 3, but the Knights made 25 attack errors in those two sets alone which kept Allen in the match.

SAU would only make 8 more attack errors for the entire rest of the match as they cleaned up their game and pushed them to the win,
