ATHENS, Tenn. - The St. Andrews University Women's Soccer team dropped their conference road game 6-0 to Tennessee Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.

TWU 6, SAU 0

TWU broke through in the 15th minute to take a 1-0 lead and then added a second goal in the 29th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the break while leading in shots 13-4.

Wesleyan then added four more goals in the second half to put the game away as they never gave SAU a chance to get back into the game in the half. TW's first goal after halftime was just 14 seconds into the period.

TWU controlled the shot count 23-7 while SAU's senior midfielder Arianna Brown (SR/Freeport, Bahamas) led with 2 shots and one on goal while five other players recorded just one shot.

Senior goalkeeper Rachel Widdicks (SR/Hull, England) finished with five saves on 11 shots on goal.

SAU falls to 1-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference while TWU improves to 6-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the AAC.

SAU will now return home to host Bluefield College (Va.) on Tuesday at 1:00 PM.
