DAYTON, Tenn. - The St. Andrews University Women's Soccer team suffered their worst defeat of the season so far in falling 9-0 to Bryan College (Tenn.) on the road Saturday.

Bryan would get on the board with their first goal in the 13th minute before adding three more goals by halftime and led 4-0 at the break. They outshot the Knights 13-1 in the first half as well. Bryan then unfortunately added four more goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to lead 8-0.

All eight goals were scored on SAU senior keeper, Rachel Widdicks (SR/Hull, England). Bryan added their final goal in the 69th minute past SAU junior keeper Liz Garner (JR/Huntingtown, MD). Widdicks and Garner combined to finish with three saves.

Bryan dominated the shot count 22-3 while SAU's junior forward Madi Castro (JR/Stedman, NC), freshman MF Tatiana Kendzulak (FR/Currituck, NC) and freshman defender Alissa Picard (FR/Litchfield, NH) each led in shots with one apiece as well.

SAU falls to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference while Bryan improves to 3-2 and 1-0 in the conference.

SAU will now return home to host NAIA non-conference foe Dalton State (Ga.) College (3-1-1) at 3:00 PM on Wednesday. It is the first of a four-game home-stand for the Lady Knights as they look to begin their quest for their first win of the season.
