PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- St. Andrews U. sophomore women's golfer Lydia Randell (SO/Walnut Cove, NC) completed her first NAIA national appearance on Wednesday by shooting rounds of 83 and 85 to place in the top 80 after two rounds.

However, due to rain, the fourth round was canceled and the tournament cut was shortened to two rounds with Randell not quite making the cut for the third and final round.

Randell finished at 168 (+24) and 5th among AAC golfers out of a total of 11 conference golfers competing. The tournament is being played at the PGA National- Squire Course in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Randell will return to SAU next season looking to return to the National tournament as she will be a leader for the Knights. She will also look to repeat as individual conference champion and lead her team to Nationals.
