SILVIS, IL- St. Andrews University men's golfer and AAC Tournament Champion Joe Hurn (JR/Mountaintop, PA) will begin his quest for an individual national title on Tuesday when he tees off on the 10th hole at 2:00 PM at the NAIA Championships at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill this week.

The St. Andrews' junior, out of Mountaintop, PA, won the AAC title at -3 under par (213) to finish as the individual champion and will represent the AAC at the NAIA National Championship. Hurn shot 72 in round one to sit in 2nd before his 71 and 70 put him into the lead as he held on for the win. Hurn, pictured below, was named to the all-tournament team as well for his victory.

Hurn will tee off on the first hole at 9:20 AM on Wednesday morning in the second round. His third round tee time has not yet been released for Thursday. However, if Hurn makes the cut by placing in the top 40 after 3 rounds he will advance to the fourth and final round on Friday.

SAU sophomore and AAC Ladies Tournament Champion Lydia Randell (SO/Walnut Cove, NC) will then begin her quest for a national title next week from the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The 23rd annual event will take place May 23-26.

Randell won the Conference tournament individual title back on April 18 shooting a school record 70 in the first round and a 147 overall to finish first and represent the AAC and SAU at Nationals next week.

Randell will tee off at approximately 2:20 PM on the 10th hole on Tuesday, May 23 before beginning her second round on Wednesday at 9:10 AM from the first hole.
