WALESKA, Ga. - The St. Andrews University Men's Lacrosse team finished their regular season with a crushing defeat falling 36-3 to 2nd ranked rival Reinhardt University (11-1) on the road in Georgia Friday evening.

RU got out to a 10-1 advantage after the first quarter before extending their lead to 19-2 at halftime. Reinhardt then scored 11 more goals in the third quarter and six in the fourth as they ran up the score on their rivals.

SAU was led by two goals from freshman attacker Matthew Theobald (FR/Stanley, NC) as well as a GB and a caused turnover. Also scoring a goal was freshman attacker Damian Anderson (FR/Troutman, NC). Theobald finished the year with 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points while Anderson had 11 goals.

Senior goalie Nick Levar (SR/Hibbing, MN) made 12 saves and recorded 7 ground balls to lead the team while sophomore face-off specialist Sebastian Calmes (SO/Lexington, KY) had 3 GBs and won 7 face offs. Zach Bradley (JR/Effingham, SC) also had multiple GBs. Levar finished the season with 99 saves and 12.4/game.

St. Andrews falls to 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference while Reinhardt improves to 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.

SAU has now completed their regular season. The AAC Tournament will be April 21-22 in Knoxville, TN.
