Sophomore Golfer Matthew DeGiorgio has been named to the USCAA National All-Academic team for 2012. The award required that a nominee have a GPA higher than 3.5 and be at least a sophomore.
The Boston native had a GPA above a 3.5 and had also performed well at this past fall's golf events, including a tie for 12th at the Reinhardt Invitational where he shot a 75 on day 2, one of the top scores of that round.
